Develop your Leadership Skills

Many people who lead organisations face challenges in accessing good quality leadership training. This can be particularly true for those in church and community settings.

Livability are delighted to offer the opportunity to participate in a highly engaging leadership development experience being delivered by Paul England. As part of his Livability fundraising for this year’s Virgin London Marathon, Paul is running two half-day workshops focused on developing key leadership skills.

Paul is an expert in leadership development, change management and culture; and spends his professional life working with individuals and teams across the private, public and third sector helping them develop the skills they need to deliver outstanding results for their organisations.

This course is for people who lead organisations, particularly in church and community settings.

There are two sessions:

Leading Change & Transition – Getting Others to Follow You – 9.30am-1pm

In this workshop, you will learn:

• Why change is important to organisational life
• What you need to be aware of when leading change
• How to work with resistance to change

Developing Personal Impact – Become More Influential – 1.30pm-5pm

In this workshop, you will learn:

• What the obstacles are to creating a positive personal impact
• How you can become more influential
• How to take others with you to achieve organisational outcomes.

We invite you to join one or both of these workshops. Your only commitment is

• Have an open mind
• Arrive ready to learn, engage and participate fully
• Make a £30-£50 donation per workshop to Paul’s fundraising campaign

You can choose to come to only one workshop or book for both. Feel free to invite others, but be sure to book your place early, as places are limited.
