Skills Development Day: Tamworth

If you want to build the skills to work with people with learning disabilities, this course is for you. We talk about the Biblical principles behind welcoming disabled people, then look at communication, worship, prayer and teaching. We talk about how to use these skills in your church setting, and support people to participate fully in church life.

Who is it for?

Skills Development Days are for anyone who would like to welcome people with learning disabilities into their church and worship.

These practical days have an emphasis on putting theory into practice, discussions with people from other groups and exploring techniques around enabling participation and using inclusive language.
