London Marathon update
Livability would like to say thank-you to all our brilliant Marathon running fundraisers!
An enormous £27,900 was raised in total and the number is still growing. All together 20 runners took part in doing the Marathon for Livability and all came through unscathed – apart from a good deal of cramp probably!
Special mention should go out to Peter Sammons who completed the Marathon in an incredible 3hr 31m 36s, and this was his first ever marathon! We must all thank Olympus KeyMed who had 7 competitors for Livability. Olympus KeyMed are an Essex based company that do a great deal of fundraising for Livability and this is just another example of their great work.
A reception was held after the race where the runners received a shower and a special sports massage. It was a great day overall and it was wonderful to see so many people putting in such hard work for Livability.
Thanks and we hope to see you all next year!
